Jeff & Carly traveled to Raleigh, North Carolina for Casey Family Programs to document the “Making It Happen: Strengthening Families and Building Communities of Hope” event. Community groups, faith-based organizations, government agencies and other stakeholders attended the forum to encourage learning and develop strategies to promote strong families, while addressing child welfare issues in Wake County.
TAP Plastics to the Rescue
Our goal was to showcase the new HTC One, which gave Jeff, aka MacGyver, the opportunity to “showcase” his skills. As usual, this required a quick trip to one of his favorite places in the whole wide world – Tap Plastics. www.tapplastics.com
With a little string, carbon fiber tubing, a few suction cups and some “Brillianize” – we were good to go!
CrossFit Total
This is Sue’s Gym, Urban CrossFit, participating in a CrossFit Total. She makes a cameo appearance 50 seconds in. Just another reason we think our Business Owner / Manager is bad ass…

Survival Capsule Featured on Daily Planet – Discovery Channel Canada
This week, two large round objects were on display for our shoot at Mukilteo Beach – the bright yellow sun and the bright orange Survival Capsule prototype. The capsule was invented and designed as a spherical ball to protect against tsunami events.
Julian Sharpe, visionary and leader of development of the capsule, has been generating a great deal of interest – both nationally and internationally. This week we had the pleasure of shooting an interview with him for the television show “Daily Planet” which airs on Discovery Canada. http://www.discovery.ca/Showpage.aspx?sid=13287
For a more in-depth look at the Survival Capsule, check out the video we made under the work section of our site. http://www.redjetfilms.com/work?page=1

The World Vision Experience
Jeff & Ryan traveled to Tanzania to produce several videos for The World Vision Experience. The Experience brings the sights and sounds of Africa to cities across America—all in the trailer of a mobile semi-truck. It’s equipped with multiple screens to guide visitors through an astonishing story of change as seen through the eyes of 13-year-old Babayetu and his community.
The guests travel on a bus ride down the roads of Tanzania, get an up-close glimpse of what it’s like to live in poverty and discover proven solutions that help families build a better life. As the truck tours the country, local communities will receive an experiential look at global need and be provided with a simple, proven way to respond through World Vision.
Accomplishing the task of creating all the videos for the truck was quite the “experience” in itself. Thanks to some creative thinking, custom MacGyver made tools, 8 GoPro™ cameras and the ability to eat goat and spaghetti Bolognese for days on end, the guys accomplished their task.
